An award winning education technology company is looking for an amazing Creative Director with a solid history of creating impressive online and offline experiences to take part in the creation and marketing of the next revolution in science education. As head of our Design Department you will be responsible for all aspects of design and art direction for the company's educational products and marketing materials.
This varied role includes:
- Working with Product team to define user experience and design of our cross-platform software products (UX/ UI)
- Supporting developers in implementation of design
- Developing and strengthening brand assets, engaging marketing materials (print and digital) as well as multi-media content materials
- Mentoring and inspiring your team of junior designers
Requirements:
- 7+ years' experience in information architecture and user interaction design across various platforms including mobile and web.
- Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- An expert understanding of trends in visual design especially in mobile and web
- Experience defining or maintaining a design style guide or branding guidelines
- Experience working with multiple focal points and across multiple groups within a company
- Proven ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent professional experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Art direction and experience setting up photo shoots
- Illustration experience
- The ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash
