Your Responsibilities:
• Drive the user experience design for our flagship product and platform, in web and mobile product line from concept to result.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from user and market research to drive demonstrable improvements to design methodologies, design solutions, experience patterns and overall product strategy.
• Mentor UX practitioners and advocate best practices in Web and Mobile UXD.
• Act as a UX product team coach by leading and by teaching through doing Sr. UX-level user experience tasks as needed – hands on work required.
• Present your design methods, explorations, and tradeoff rationale along with recommendations to executive leadership and other team stakeholders.
• Evaluate competitive, innovative products and design approaches to identify best practices and emerging patterns, and to encourage innovation.
• Demonstrate interest in the details and the results of the design process, not just the initial concept.
• Creating productive and organized work processes with the global UX team, maintaining ongoing communication, while building a common visual language and constructive feedback processes.
Job Requirements:
• Degree in a relevant field (HCI, graphic, interactive or communication design); MDM a plus.
• Minimum 8 years overall experience in User Experience design, with at least 3 years specifically in team leadership.
• Comprehensive understanding of all user experience disciplines (visual experience, research, analytics, interaction, etc.) and best practices and principles – especially as applied to web and mobile development.
• Portfolio demonstrating brilliant design.
• Fluency in current product development methodologies & trends, such as Agile or Lean UX.
• Familiar with analytics tools.
• Technical knowledge of latest web and mobile technologies and best practices.
• Excellent facilitation, collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience working successfully with distributed global teams.
• Experience working closely with a global UX team
